51-45 over the Bengals. This was definitely the most entertaining game I've ever seen. There was over 1000 yards of total offense, close to 40 plays of 10+ yards...unbelievable. The Browns o-line really stepped up their game and they gave Anderson all the time he needed for 5 TD passes and allowed Jamal Lewis to rack over 200 yards on the ground.
What a crazy game. How on earth did we pull this crap off after putting up 7 last week? Oh well...cheers, rendova! :drinktoth

Yes Carbon it was a heck of a game to watch if you like offense. I was just pumped to watch my QB Carson Palmer rack up 401 yards & 6 TD's and 60.04 fantasy points against your Browns but of course no time outs at the end led to the sealing interception as Carson tried to work the side line. So much for the league being free. I had to pay the $9.99 for stat tracker to get updates during the games. Oh well it's only $10 and it sure makes it a lot more fun to follow my team. Dang did Carson look good today. LOL

The Bengals D can suck my dick. I picked them up for a one-off because I expected them to hold the Browns pretty easily. Now I'm probably looking at negative points from my D. Bah.

Yeehah!!
PS. Don't feel TOO bad, borg. This was the week I got rid of both Jamal Lewis AND Kellen Winslow on fantasy, thinking they were going to do terribly. Ah well, the gods of football can be cruel.
Carbon. great game and just what we needed. I sincerely believe we're just a few players away from being a truly dominant team after lo, many years of suffering. Winning is a habit, as the great Lombardi said, unfortunately, so is losing. We CAN get out of the mindset of being cellar-dwellars.:drinktoth

I have palmer in my main league with a 100 dollar buy in.. got me 52 freakin points... wow
Yea that game was crazy.. Even with all that time Anderson had, I don't think Frye would have made those throws. I think he is just used to being average. Obviously the reason Anderson and the browns did so well is because the offensive line dominated the defensive line. When Anderson gets pressure you can be sure you'll see an average QB again.

That could very well be, but can't help but think the same could be said for most QBs out there. The more time they have, the better.
What impressed me yesterday about the play of the O-line was that they played this well still missing two starters!

Anybody who had a Bengals or a Browns player this week (except the D's) is dancing in the street this week.....and this week only.

I agree.. but some QB's handle the pressure better than others. DA isn't the kind of guy who handles the pressure well. A guy who handles pressure well would be a Ben Roethlisburger, Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning etc... they don't make dumb mistakes. I'll use the example of Drew Bledsoe.. the guy could heave the ball a mile and if you gave him time he'd dissect a defense. But if the pass rush got anywhere near him he'd flinch. Some QB's are just comfortable in the pocket even though that pocket happens to be collapsing.. others aren't.
Speaking of having time to throw... I don't think I have ever seen a QB have more time to throw over the years than Tom Brady. I swear I could perform the checkdowns he does with 10 seconds to just stand there. Now everyone knows I have a biased opinion.. I hate Tom Brady. I respect he's a top tier QB, but in the grand scheme of things he's overrated. He's the product of a good system, and a cheating system at times.
