Better my CURTAINS Trav than my MIND.
Any one who doesn't have the brains to even understand why it is US who should be watching our gov, instead of THEM watching us - is too far gone to waste my time trying to explain what happens when you give more and more power to those who are obssessed with it, least deserve to have it, and who will ultimately seek to destroy us with it.

Got your tinfoil hat yet, willow? Is MLB spying on you?

Never believe the Wash. Post. They are not very good.

Trav,
you should go find and read that TV and the HIVE MIND article I posted some time ago, and see just how effectively they do control us. You must not fall victim to thinking that control refers strictly to "physical control, becuase of all forms of control nothing works nearly as well as mind/thought control .
Where they repetetively LEAD your mind, they KNOW your body will eventually follow. And just like Pavlov's dog, after a while, they know they need only to SHOW you the " bell" to elicit just the right response they want from you, and the masses.
Oh - and if you will remember. All those arms those people in Waco supposedly had stock piled - didn't do them ONE bit of good , did they?

Maybe so, but as I know from all the reading I have done on the newspaper industry, and where we actually get our news, and from what Bernard Goldberg stated as well the other day - all the main stream papers, tv news anchors take their cues straight from the Post. You should maybe some day, read up on the Post family history too. Most interesting.

Actually Goldberg said that all of the mainstream papers take their cue from the NY Times.

Well, I don't know what to tell you Lionel, cept what I know I heard him say just the other day. Still, be it the Post or Times, it still comes down to the fact that the propoganda they pass off as news, comes from just one central source, which is why we get the same homoginized, canned product from the main stream where ever the commie zionists have developed/ colonized and privatized a country and control the press/media.

If you go to Canada, Britain, Europe, Australia, South America, Africa they get the same propoganda being drilled into their heads as we get when it comes to the issues they pick and choose to shape our thinking with and force us to focus on, to the exclusion of every thing else that doesn't serve their agenda or is damaging to them.
And thanks to the powers behind the throne who have dropped the curtain on even the FOIA, and how every thing is a matter of National Security, we can't even kid ourselves about having anything that can remotely be called a free press, when the only info any Washington reporter can get is what the state dept decides they will give out and nothing more. And when also ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS execs all know who the same old sponsors are that butter their bread.....no one has to tell them to censor anything. It's just common sense that if you' re a Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, or some other big cheese anchor and you want to keep those hefty cheques coming your way - and the same goes for print editors - you know automatically whose toes you do not step on. Unless they give you the green light at their CFR meetings and you do 20 minutes on 60 minutes on their illegal toxic waste dumping, or Enron or what ever so it looks to the public like news reporters are really uncovering the stories, and we have a free press they can speak and write freely in. And by next week it's forgotten of course cause you only heard it once, and now here's this other 20 min bombshell they're dropping on us this week, that we won't ever hear another word about again.
Good way to make us think we get fair, honest and unbiased news coverage, by giving us those little teeny crumbs. But it's a total sham when you understand how the dept of spin, cover up and propoganda really functions. I will be out of town with a family emergency, but when i get back I will try and hunt up this great article I think you will learn a lot from. .
