Thanks for posting this. I heard about the concert but did not go. I went to the Summer of Love 40th anniversary concert last week in Golden Gate park and am still recovering from that. :-). Perhaps others were too. They expected around 20,000 people but it ended up being around 100,000 people. It was a nice event and perfect weather. The crowd was very well behaved too. I never noticed one police officer. Only one old old park ranger. Of course, I'm sure there were some undercover. I was surprised at all the Ron Paul people there. That was the only political candidate I saw people passing out flyers for. That was sort of surprising to me although I have noticed a lot of Ron Paul bumperstickers around here. I don't think he has much of a chance to win though. My guess is that it will be Rudy against Hillary but we will see!

Just to see the particpants... not too many of these gatherings here in the land of "Gawd, Guts, and Glory".

Looks like the same crowd that has been marching in SF since the 1960's. Hell, they are even wearing the same costumes.
