Since we Americans insist on callin' FOOTBALL "soccer," would it be fair fer the rest of the World ta call what WE do "soccer," too, just fer revenge???

(I once played a bit of "soccer" with my Mom's brother, but had ta quit after gettin' a sprained uncle...)

If that's the case, then why do they hold the World Cup in Soccer? If the remainder of the world wants to play football, let them form their own leagues, under the NFL umbrella, of course, and then there might really be a Super Bowl. Surely you don't expect the rest of the planet's football players to cave before our mighty AFC/ NFC players the way they did in front of NBA stars, do ya?

The biggest problem with soccer seems to be the bad press - aimed not exactly at soccer, but at the hordes of yuppette soccer moms in their convoys of 3 ton SUV's.
