Ahh, to be young again (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20378451/)! Would if I could.
The rest of you get your walkers ready.

Problem is when the "young" mind says "Hey, that looks fun! I'm gonna do that" and it's off and running but the "old" body is still working on getting out of the chair and moving without joints cracking 5 minutes later

I know I should be grateful because I have been healthy and very high energy my whole life, and I am grateful, I am. For the first time this last month I got a touch of what old age is going to be like because I put my back out. I don't know how, but I did.
Pain, and stiffness with vague aches and pains that is what old age is going to be like. And if we're lucky, we get to go there. Also the first week I was healing nicely and then decided nothing was going to keep me down so less than a week later I resumed full activity while not completely healed. What an idiot. Was down for another two.
Oh well, it's better than the alternative.

Even my grand-daughters are getting old. One of them actually started University last year.

Once you get over all of the midlife crisis BS, I hear that life is pretty grand after that.
Of course I really wouldn't know that because I'm still middle aged. lol.
