A book of parables and mythology written by men for men and translated by men who were in there time called (Scribes) and who are in our time called (Jewish lawyers.)
The word of God written by Jewish lawyers is a credebility problem for me.
(The Jewish lawyer.)
To the Jewish lawyer the words ill eagle represent nothing more than a sick bird and outragious fees.
Is it any wonder that these Jewish lawyers self anointed the Jewish people as Gods chosen people???

Grumpy, if you want to attach the concept of Jewish Lawyer to things :) which I have never seen done before, "Holy Smokes!", everything does become different! :) I guess the question now is, "Did God sneak something in there when "they" weren't looking?"

Is it any wonder that these Jewish lawyers self anointed the Jewish people as Gods chosen people???How else could it have been? This notion of self-importance is a cross cultural phonom. Here closer to home, the words most indian tribes used to identify themselves was basically: "the people." The words used to identify others were varients of: "those who are not The People." Had Jesus been born into another culture, the conversation would have differant particulars, but similar themes.

Shiloh, yes I am butting in. But then we do all have precedent on All Forums.net for butting in.
In my personal opinion you are right :) And this, only the Old Testament is written in Hebrew :) Can we still have a Christian religion and just dump the Old Testament? It is kind if like the Book of Morman and the Book of Sunni. Can you still have a religion and just dump one book :) ?

BatGirl "hi", it is nice to meet you! Batgirl you are a Christian :) Humm? :)
I don't disagree with your above post. But at least 50% of this messageboard is not Christian, and they have an attitude about it.
With grumpy we are up against Jewish Layers, with most non Christians, we are up against, "Why are all Christians idiots? :) ).
Librarys full of books have been written to explain to others that Christians are idiots. Satan can not let Christians stand, any of them. Or he ceases to exist as "King of this World". :)
BatGirl based on my experience you have your hands full. Just for the record, "Get um!", and I will back you up to the best of my ability.

Because of Jesus, the establishment had the "peewad" scared out of them :)
The best that they could come up with is :) resurrect yourself as "lion shit"!
The best that the Bible comes up with, is that the lions didn't eat you :)
Being a Christian is interesting. We have two thousand years of history (Jesus is coming back any minute now). And we have Satan in the middle of this "doubt" reality. And the world wants to know it we can come back as "lion shit".
I don't know what Jesus did, but obviously things are still being worked out :) if one is or wants to be a Christian.
On one hand we have Satan totally tearing things up (he is king of this world) and on the other hand we have "Oh Well! :) We are Christians :) "
I guess the object it to not end up "lion shit", and to hope for the best.
