So MANY laws that.... there really oughtta be a... law...

But, until there is, WHY do we keep forever blabbin' 'bout how much FREEDOM we got here in America? Considerin' as how each and every law is yet another... restriction on free behavior...

I hate to do this, GULP, but here it goes. I.... agree.... with ...odder 100....%. There are to many laws! WE need a law to limit the amount of laws passed every year. I hear like 10,000 per year. thats insane! Stop the politicians before they law us right into a communist dictatorship. Hitler came to power through laws, not guns. We must be careful.

On the subject of too many laws, yes there are. Let's get to repealing some of them like laws regarding sex between consenting adults (already in progress after Lawrence & garner v. Texas), the law saying gay people can't be married or adopt, and the multitude of laws prohibiting drugs.

Bush has been relatively neutral to Jews, but religion...the only religion Bush is really tolerant of is Christianity. Just look at all this faith-based crap he's pumping out. And as for "liberating oppressed countries"...that depends on your definitions of "liberating", "oppressed", and "countries". As for Hitler, he may have been all those things (except gay), but for God's sake the man was neither conservative nor liberal! He was an evil man, and you may argue that is the same as liberal, but I would laugh in your face. Actually, I don't know where you came up with Hitler being gay; gays were a group he targeted in the Holocaust! They didn't fit into his idea of perfection.

That's unlikely. He wanted a perfect Aryan society; homosexuals wouldn't fit into that. I think his homophobia was genuine.
