At the suggestion of skinnybones4, we've created a new "pets" forum so we can hear all about how cute "fluffy" is. Enjoy. :)

I thought the same thing when I first seen her. But she's part whippet and part greyhound.
Wendy was recently part of a genetics study done in the U.S. on mutation in the myostatin gene in whippets, which resemble greyhounds in appearance. The National Institute of Health study reported that whippets with one single defective copy of the gene have increased muscle mass that can enhance racing performance in the breed, known for speeds up to 60 kilometres an hour.
But whippets with two mutated copies of the gene become "double-muscled," like Wendy. It has been seen before in one human, and also in mice, cattle and sheep, says the study.
My dog can eat your dog for breakfast. ;)

Are you sure that deformed muscaloid is real? That looks like breeding abuse.
Or photochop.

Yes, she's for real. Not photochopping at all. She has 2 copies of mutated genes, thus the 24 pack instead of six pack.
Her heart, lungs etc, are all normal sized, so she'll probly die early.

I know on the other hand if she is treated well a short happy life is better than no life at all.

Meet Richard Sandrak. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Sandrak)
Also known as Little Hercules, is renowned for his physique at an extremely young age. He started training at two years of age and by the time he was six was pressing 4 times more than his own weight. His father only allowed him to eat according to a strict diet, consisting of liquid nutrients and vegetables.

Not really. I watch it sink then float to the surface again, pretty boring but I dont have to clean up after it.

we have a new puppy.
name is BJ. short for butkis junior.
he's part pitbull, doberman pincher, boxer, and penny fiest. he'll be anywhere from 6 pounds to 100 pounds. he eats like he'll be 100.

Aww he sounds adorable! I love all those big "vicious" dogs. We have a rottweiler here at my mom's house, named Gus. We do have to put a muzzle-type thing (although it's not as restrictive as a real muzzle - he can open his mouth somewhat) on him when we take him out, because if he sees another dog he will go crazy. He's perfectly fine with people though.
What I really want is a mini rottie or a mini doberman. They look cute like big dogs but they're little, so they're easier to take care of.

BJ looks like his dad. more of a boxer look than anything else. his dad hates me for some reason. i will never understand it, but i think he sees me as a threat since he is at the bottom of the "pack" order.
be funny if BJ grows up to be small but look like a boxer.
