According to historians of a rival University from wherein I work, the man who shot Lincoln escaped, wasn't shot in a barn, lived until 1883, and died that year in India.

Not exactly new stuff but we get tons of Lincoln conspiratist buffs a year coming into my own library following this astounding tale.
