Have you been banned in a forum?

What did you do?

- Crying to admin to forgive you,
- Never mind, leave the admin in peace,
- Register with another username,
- Grrr..., Lets make your own forum and spam it...

I spent a year on a forum.

The administration was extorting the users donations. Their hosting cost $5 a month and they were getting 200.00 roughly and saying they didn't have enough money.

The first moderator that exposed them had his posts edited and he was made to look like a child pedofile.

The strange thing is these administrators were great officials in everyway except when it came to their money.

So I staged a similar event but they couldn't find a legitimate reason to ban me.

Then at some point I posted something extremely arbitrary and got banned.

Nope, I'm better and smarter than that.
Or just too boring...

I left a couple of forums for a two very different reasons, but I've not been banned, dammit.

I have been banned, sadly on 2 forums. and one was for a silly reason

What was the other reason, skinny? You seem pretty harmless to me.

I was banned from the Crime Library Message Board for getting into a huge argument, tho polite on both sides, with a mod over the Sam Sheppard case.

That was years ago and I'm still banned. I'm sure they miss my profound insight and cry into their pillows every night, the poor sots.

I've been banned quite a few times, never from all forums although I'm sure I was right on the edge a few times.

I've gone on a few forum wars and been banned from them *eventually*, haha that was fun.
I was the leader of my pack so their admin wasn't so fast to eject me but whenever he did one of my people I raised holy hell.

I've also been banned for starting a '4 word game'. we had already had a 2 word and 3 word and the admin was having a meltdown. When I did the 4 word one, he lost it and banned me.
There are 6,235 forums on the internet last time I checked, I'm not worried about getting banned.

I've never been banned and probably never will. But it's sometimes entertaining watching posters who actively try to get themselves banned.

Well i was banned for posting my site a little "too much" but who doesn't when their trying to get their forum out? And the other one was because the admin had it in for everybody on that forum.

I MASS ADVERTISED MY FORUM EVERYWHERE!


I ended up with 2500 registered users, but they only stayed briefly. If that.

It was on ezboards.com

And I got banned globablly for a year.

O yeah, what was the name of your forum? I've played on ezboards a few years ago.
