So I just recently bought this and watched it again, for only the third time. It'd been at least a year since I'd last seen it, but it's just as I remember it: CLOSER TO THE PERFECT MOVIE THEN ANYONE WILL EVER GET. Words cannot describe how good this movie is. I think it's pretty much the closest anyone's ever gotten to a pure work of art on film, if you know what I mean. It's one of those movies that just transcends being merely a movie, it's like living poetry. All the beauty and power of the film, particularly the first 10-15 minutes, is just overwhelming. If anyone here hasn't seen it, you should do so as soon as you can. Make sure you have enough time to watch it straight through without any distractions, and just WATCH. I often have a hard time naming my favorite films, but I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best films EVER.
