My wife and I just saw The Simpsons Movie. Do not buy popcorn when you see this movie. You will be so busy laughing you won't have time to eat it. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen and that includes Animall House.

It was awesome. We even made fan T-Shirts using magic markers and hi-lighters. I have some pics to upload...

It was everything it was supposed to be...just wish I would have noticed Frogger's popcorn message beforehand, cause we still have a bag sitting in our kitchen. :)

IT WAS SO AMAZING!!!!

I love love loved it, oh my goodness. I laughed at every joke. But my boyfriend and I did manage to eat a bag of popcorn. I only finished about half of my drink though... probably because I was determined NOT to take a bathroom break.

Anyways, it was exactly as I expected. No better, no worse than I thought it would be. :)

Well, I was expecting a lot from a Simpsons movie. I've grown up on The Simpsons; their first season was the year before I was born. So my memories begin during their mid-nineties heyday. I watched Simpsons almost every single day from age three to age 14, but then unfortunately didn't have a TV for two years. Now I'm back to watching it whenever I think about it, although I've seen most of the episodes in circulation.

For me, The Simpsons was the gift that kept on giving. When I first started watching, it was because it was a cartoon that was on at night (cool!), and I liked all the slapstick humor. Then, as time went on, I started to get the jokes. Then, even later on, I started to get the really subtle humor. :)

I have watched this show with my father since I was an infant. The night it came out we went to see it together. My sisters were hoping the movie would end the series, because my father and I have been quoting it and relating Simpsons episodes to everything in life for years.

"That reminds me of a Simpsons episode..." is one of my better-used phrases, and all my friends and family know it.

I think I need to get the DVD to fully appreciate it. I mean it was funny in theaters but there was so much they packed into the movie.

I enjoyed it. I was expecting something SPECTACULAR since there is just so much balanted advertising for it. But thats just how I am. Other than that I really enjoyed it and I found it very funny.

Can someone have high standards while having problems with spelling "Balanted"?

Of course you can have high standards. Does that mean I have to agree with them?

Just got my pirated copy of this from the ville and watched it actually. It was pretty good, we got some good laughs out of it. Anyways, yeah... if they make anymore episodes of the Simpsons, it will be a mistake.

I don't know, I mean, its been on for how many years? This would make a fitting end to it if you ask me.

But it's still so good.... I don't think they should take it off the air until it starts going downhill a little. Not that I want them to run it into the ground or anything.

Well, youngster, I remember watching them when the Simpsons were only a short in between skits on the Tracy Ullman show!!! They didn't even get a full half hour.

Hard to believe,
gas was under a dollar - for Premium!
a candy bar was $0.50 or less,
and a $1 soda machine didn't exist.

Oh well,
007.

The simpsons has kinda run its course.. I was hoping for an end to it all in the movie, maybe homer dies or something. Not that I don't like the simpsons, but it's not the show it used to be. The glory days were back in the late 90's, right when they shifted focus of the show from bart to homer. There is only so much you can do with that show, and while they keep on entertaining, they should go out on top.

The Simpson's movie is really a funny movie. I have always liked them on tv and they are really great on the big screen. Hilarious!

Honestly, I wasn't blown away. It was solid, but it felt like same-old-same-old to me. I think the Simpsons began as an innovative animated comedy, but now it feels... old. Been there, done that. Same can already be said about Family Guy lately. Both shows need to adjust their formulas asap or get cancelled. Take a cue from Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld, two terrific sitcoms that knew when to cut it.

I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but I'm sure to see it in the near future. Seems like a good movie.

I'll have to agree with the majority on this one. This was one hell of a great movie, and well worth the wait and money spent. Although I did wait more then anticipated, I just saw it last Saturday.

No popcorn, but I did have an Icee. Nothing came up my nose thankfully, but there had been close calls. It's the Simpsons! What do you expect?! It was awesome!

It's that funny is it. I have not watched it as of yet but would like to see it. The last time I watched something funny I dropped all my popcorn on the fall by mistake. lol
