That's Right,Cruella De Vil was a Smoker.In fact,she
was probably in her best light,when smoking and pointedly
lavishing in a cloud of smoke,amidst her very draped,cushy Pad.
That long Cig-holder,almost competting with her long face.
Butt,Oh Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
No more says Disney.
No mores scenes of smoking by a character in their Movies.
Shazam,DRAT,Dagburn-it and schucks.
I can't see Bogey {Humphrey Bogart } w/o his ever-present
white drag.He did die of throat cancer,however.
Oh well.
Another day,another Ban.

Heard about that... I was quite surprised by the statistic at the end of the article that said 90% of R rated movies feature smoking, while 3/4 of those with less than an R rating do.

Smoking was Very Socially acceptable in the 40's and 50's.
Then again,The death of Bridge playing and Cocktail Parties,
along with 3 martini Expense account lunches.
So,for an employee to Tink they're gonna be right at home with
Steak Tartare and 3 Martini fer lunch,then the Cocktail Party after
Hours,followed by some Bridge is somewhat remiss.
If s'not damn near Nil.

So when a character gets mad and they blow smoke/steam out their ears, does that mean that we're watching R-rated content?

i guess next they'll be taking all those movies made from now to the past that has smoking in them and they get deleted? first colorizing films, now no smoking. what next? no blood, war, and sex?
anybody else ever see demolition man?
