Welcome one and all to what is considered (in some cases) the deciding week in the NFL...Week 7! Much has happened here: two teams remain undefeated, and some of the bigger disappointing teams are starting to turn things around (in some perspectives). With that said, it's recapin' time!
To everyone who said the Vikings would fall....well....they haven't! By beating the broncos 28-20, (and with Culpepper back in the game), they move to 6-0 on the year. Keep it up!
I have nothing to say about the Chiefs since they haven't played yet...but they're my pick over the Raiders tonight.
Carolina falls victim to their first loss of the season with a 37-17 loss to the Titans.
The Bucs lost again this weekend to SF 24-7. (Borg can't be too happy about that).
Bills won this weekend over the Redskins 24-7...like washington ever had a chance anyway....
Packers lost to the Rams..........and now in other scores...
Bengals won...........they're doing oh so GREAT this year!!! (if you look a couple years back, you'd proly think so)
The Chargers are no longer a winless team this year after knocking off Cleveland 26-20.
Other winners include the Seahawks, Jets, Cowboys, Saints, and Eagles.
As I said earlier, my pick for MNF goes to the Chiefs...(just something about the Raiders makes me pick them...that and they're an area team for me). So let's hear your comments and look on to Week 8!

As a Browns fan, I just want to know how we can beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh, but drop games in Cleveland to the Bengals and the Chargers.
Okay, just wanted to get that off my chest. Thanks!
(Oh, and Chiefs by 14.)

I swear, it's looking a bit like Gruden was a one-year wonder. Back to another Tony Dungy season: decent regular season record, but a choke in the playoffs. (Remember, the Bucs were 3-4 one year and finished 10-6...we're generally a late-season team.)

Bah Humbug. What started as a promising season has now started to become a disaster. My 3-4 Redskins are looking helpless and hopeless against even mediocre pass rushes. Thankfully the 'Skins have an off week coming up. Then those cowturds host the 'Skins. I dont care if we lose the rest of the games this entire season as long as we beat Dallas. *Sighs*

Are they playing the Packers this year? Because if you want to play against a worse than mediocre pass rush I know where you can find one.

Heh heh, the Bucs play the Cowboys this week. I'm guessing I can expect a lot of support from all you "Cowpuke-haters". :D
I'm curious, though, I'm a longtime football fan yet I just can't figure out why everyone hates the Cowboys. I always assumed it's because they're like the Yankees...is this so? I've always thought of Green Bay as more of a Yankee-type team, but of course my Bucs lost to them twice a year without fail for so many years.

I guess GB has the same sort of long tradition, but you really need a few things to hit that special level of hatred that the Yanks have achieved: 1) an obnoxious, meddling owner 2) larger than life players with egos to match 3) consistently winning record. I don't hate the 'Boys as much as I used to because they weren't that good (until this year) and because all of the obnoxious jerks like Michael Irvin and Leon Lett had retired. But back in the 90s when they would win all of the time and knock the Packers out of the playoffs every year I hated them worse than I hated the Bears.
The Bucs are on the way to that status for me - Sapp is getting to be an a**hole and I'm getting sick of the whole Gruden mystique. I've always disliked the Vikes because they've always, always been playoff caliber but they've always had a collection of jerks - Hovan, Moss, Denny Green, etc. It goes without saying that I don't like the Raiders either.

Not much love for non-Cheesehead teams eh Lionel? I dont blame ya much, to me there are the 'Skins and no one else. But since this is a bye week for them, I am an ardent supporter of the 'Bucs this week.

Every team in the NFL has some sort of player or coach who likes to boast about their talent, or make themselves look all important and stuff. Hovan, Moss, and Culpepper happen to be those guys for the Vikings. (By the wayI never cared for Denny Green as a coach). To me, Sapp happens to be the most annoying one of all of them...I feel sorry for Bucs players that have to go through with him every weekend.

I like the teams that succeed without attitudes - the Chiefs and Titans come to mind. I've always like Cowher and the Steelers, although their success seems to vary quite a bit.

I love Eddie George and the fellas. Cowher is as intense as it gets and lots of fun to watch on the sideline. His teams are well disciplined though. But who can root against Dick Vermeil? I mean, he is the most touchy feely guy there ever was in football history. He cries when Dante Hall scores a touchdown for goodness sake! But it's genuine i believe, so that's kewl in my book.
