Since I care about the environment, I turned my computer off.

Thanks Dude, I tried one of your links out last night. Madonna happened to be on. I was hoping OD wasn't missing it. :D Boy she has a body, that woman is in top shape, she can pull her leg straight up and that is a feat that few can do.

I saw Madonna perform "Hey You" the song she wrote for Live Earth. I wanted to see some of her more energetic songs, which one did you see?
And yes, Madonna is in top shape! She's almost 50 and damn she has a good body.

I saw Hey You too. I thought it was pretty energetic. They danced through the whole thing with barely a double breath... she was skipping all over the place. She has to be doing a pretty strenuous workout combo... anti aerobics, aerobics, yoga for the stretches probably Pilate's too as well as weights.

A concert will only raise awareness about the issue during the concert. Everyone who was actually at these concerts is thinking "DUDE! I just saw (insert performer here) in person!...though I still don't understand why its called Live Earth.......oh well, let's go stick our fingers down our throats and see who throws up first!"

Yeah, for the most part, I agree. We need practical things not some concert. They use anything as an excuse for a concert now. It's just a venue for big names to get together and perform. Not that there's anything wrong with that but be it hunger or the environment or genocide I highly doubt it changes anyones behaviour the next day.
