A friend bought this at walmart since they had a small spider crack on thier windshield a few weeks ago.

Its basically a super cheap version of any professional crack repair kit....Getting this done at a dealer or shop would usually cost $50-100....

Ya gotta be patient but it worked out pretty well i guess... He recommends it so im passing it on :)

Makes sense. The sudden cooling provided by the sprayed, near-instantly boiling tetrafluoroethane (NOT carbon dioxide like they claim; compressed air cans usually contain tetrafluoroethane, more commonly known as R-134a, as a propellant) would cause contraction in the aluminum body of the car, popping the dent out. Not a foolproof method, but it seems like it would probably work effectively in a lot of cases.

Yes i wonder just how big of a dent it would work on....

Coincidentally enough, my windshield just cracked in half yesterday, thanks to a renegade rock. Might be something for me to try. If I do, I'll pass along the results.

Really....I'm going to try this haha. I have a pretty big dent in my car. I seriously doubt it will work at all, but it's worth a try.
