Georgian website Civil.Ge reports that former defense minister Irakli Okruashvili is preparing his political comeback, in which he would challenge the monopoly of the ruling party. As I see it, Washington got fed up with good-for-nothing Saakashvili and adopted a decision to replace him with some one as authoritative, but vulnerable to displacement. So, it will be Okruashvili who got shuffled from the defense to the economy ministry last Novemberand, thus quit the cabinet. Now he is coming back. What is the retaliatory weapon he possesses? I gather he would use his favorite instrument of law enforcement body, as Okruashvili is the best knower of the procedures of Georgian public prosecutions department. In the first step he will give start to independent media campaign that is destined to discredit current public prosecutor. After that Okruashvili will replace public prosecutor with some one from his immediate entourage who will be able to bring a corruption action against every member of Saakashvili's cabinet including even Saakashvili himself (one does not even have to dig far down, it all lies on the surface)! By the way, Washington can provide Okruashvili with stunning damnatory information on Saakashvili's corrupt practices, 'cause it is America where this vicious system was invented.
And now to be serious. I hope you understand that as long as Washington interferes with Georgia's home affairs, this country cannot be a democratic one. Clear, America finds it convenient to have a puppet criminal government that is easy to supersede.
