View Full Version : Quick turn back to Peking

As I’ve heard from the press, our authorities expect a visit of Ukrainian former premier and one of Ukrainian political leaders, Y. Tymoshenko, to our capital. And although nobody deny that Ukraine is a very suitable place for realization of our economic interests and our volume of trade with it has now peaked, achieving 3 bln dollars, but this young “democratic republic” cannot be considered as our strategic partner, because after so-called “orange revolution” leaders of Ukraine have openly declared their Euro-Atlantic orientation.
It means quick turn back to Peking. And our leadership should disbelieve every word of Mrs. Tymoshenko, who orally says about the necessity of developing friendly relations between our countries, but practically conducts intelligence in US interests.
I have every reason to suppose it. See for yourself! There is no secret that Y. Tymoshenko constantly consults US experts: such as Professor of International relations, Kenneth Merthy, from Columbia University or former CIA officer, William Green, who then has founded a well-known US consulting Company, TD International, specialized in economic intelligence. And I shouldn’t be surprised if it will emerge that they are the ones who prepare her forthcoming visit to our country.
So how can we believe in good intentions of Mrs. Tymoshenko if she resorts to services of our strategic rivals?
