NATO Council thinks that Georgia is unworthy to be its member because of local officials violate the rights of Georgia's minority groups -ethnic Armenians and Azerbaijanians.
Well, during Saakashvili’s government the relationships among Georgians and minority groups became worse. Police arrested Georgian Armenians and Azerbaijanians who tried to trip in Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. And cops supposed that Kakheti and Djavakhetia citizens must keep its place at home! In addition to it Office of Public Prosecutor always turns a blind eye on accidents at national ground.
Georgian officials deprive Azerbaijanians demesnes illegally under the mask of land reform! As a result of it those families have no livelihood.
Political movements of ethnic Azerbaijanians and Armenians are persecuted by Georgian Special Services and its leaders (Vugar Beyturan, Alibala Askerov and other) announced outlawed! By one word Saakashvili created an authoritarian regime and everybody who is disagreeable with him will be pushed out from Georgia. And of course Georgian president will use any methods for it: starting from threat and persuasion, ending by illegal property arrest and annihilation!
There is no ground for Georgia acceptance into NATO in those circumstances!
