Do right, do wrong, it's all the same around here, dudley.
Allforums is a strange and beautiful place, inhabited by wierd and wonderful people. Me you can trust, the others I am not so sure of.

Be especially wary of a fellow called 'Mikezilla'.
He's friendly enough all right, generous to a fault, and he'll give you the shirt off his back.

Problem is, later on he'll want that shirt back, and he's very particular about how it was laundered, dried, and folded.

Dudley: Here's you go, Mike. Here's your shirt back.

Mikezilla: What the hell, is that anyway to fold a garment of this quality?

Dudley: Wha.. What do you mean?

Mikezilla: Here, let me show you. See, you clearly held the shirt up right out of the dryer, folded it inwardly in half at the neckline, rolled it over in half vertically, and then folded it in half again. Forming a perfect square of sorts.

Dudley: Yeah? What's wrong with that?

Mikezilla: What you're supposed to do is this: (unfolds the shirt, and pops it out with a dramatic *snap*) Hold the shirt up by the shoulder corners above the dryer, facing you. In a vertical fashion (demonstrates) fold the sleeve portions neatly back behind the garment, along with the outer portion of the main shirt material. If there were breast pockets, you'd be bisecting them neatly and vertically, get it?

Dudley: Yeah.

Mikezilla: I'm only going to show you this once, so pay attention. Now, you drape the bottom of the shirt onto the top surface of the dryer, and fold it in half, forming a perfect rectangle, with the collar centered at the top. Smooth it neatly (demonstrates again), and *voila*, there's a nice presentation, and suitable for stacking of like garments. I recommend no more than 12 to 15 shirts in a stack though. Otherwise it gets messy and can topple eventually.

Dudley: You used to work at The Gap, didn't you?

Mikezilla: How did you know?

Dudley: Just a hunch. Say, I used a Bounce dryer sheet. Don't you just love the way that makes the laundry smell and feel?

Mikezilla: I meant to comment on that. Yes, this shirt feels soft and comfy, and it smells springtime-fresh. Thank you for that.

Dudley: Ah, no problem. It was my pleasure. Say, don't you think we ought to grab some beers and go back to the livingroom and watch the rest of the ballgame on the flatscreen?

Mikezilla: You're right. That bevy of dancing, slutty cheerleaders that I brought over are bound to be getting restless. We don't want them to start their gymnastics routines, and knock over all the furniture or anything.

Dudley: You're right. That stuff isn't even paid for yet! Ha ha ha ha!

Mikezilla: Ha ha ha ha ha!!!

:woohoo:
