Usually, I hate chain emails...basically spam to me, but this is worth reading!

This is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer she was on the Ellen show and
She said this same exact thing.
So please be very careful people!!!

Subject: Drinking Bottled Water Kept in Car

.....a friend whose mother recently got diagnosed with breast cancer.
The doctor told her: women should not drink bottled water that has been
left in a car. The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the
bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please
be careful and do not drink that water bottle that has been left in a
car and pass this on to all the women in your life. This information is
the kind we need to know and be aware and just might save us!!!! The

heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water and they have

found these toxins in breast tissue. Use a stainless steel Canteen or a
glass bottle when you can!!!

Now, even if you don't believe this, why risk it?? Just bring it inside or use a different type of water bottle as stated above.

Sorry, sweetie. This is not true. Check it out.

(However, if you're in Texas and leave your bottle of water in the car, by the time you get back to drink it, might wanna be careful you don't burn your tonsils out!)

In the '50s, no one thought smoking was bad for your and now look at what information has surfaced. Just because one person or organization says its not harmful doesn't mean we should all go out and drink water from a bottle that has been sitting in a car for sometime. Like I mentioned in my post, even if it's "not true" why risk it?

Simply, just use a different bottle type or buy a new bottle of water...one that is fresh and cold!

Did you know you can get cancer merely by having your ears pierced?????

Yep, the neighbor lady told us that, and thank GOD. I was curious tho, why she had multiple piercings herself.

She said she'd heard it from her great grandma who knew a girl, who knew a girl, back in 1906 who pierced her own ear with a heated darning needle and 65 years later, developed cancer.

Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also be careful of those pesky Bic lighters. A man was KILLED by one when he was driving down the road, minding his own business!!!!

Seems a piece of gravel from a dump truck flew in the window, struck the lighter, made it explode, and caused the man's fiery death.

So use Zippos or matches instead.:@@:

edited for multiple misspellings due to arthritis caused by eating eggs

Thx for the warnings, Ren.

Whatever you do, if someone flashes their headlights at you going home tonight, DO NOT FLASH BACK!

This is TRUE. I read it in a gang instruction manual.

Tell any old lady you know who still wears those bee-hive hairdos, to get a new do.

Black widows live in them and can cause the lady's painful, not to mention, embarrasing, death.

There really is no point in arguing this water bottle dilemma, but for the person who wrote about them sitting in unconditioned warehouses, how the heck would you know unless you worked there. Plus, what I was getting at was the mere idea that why should we take the risk. In the car its hot and the sun is beaming down on the plastic. I highly doubt that a warm warehouse would melt the plastic. But heck, if you want to leave your water bottle in the car and drink its warm contents, go right ahead.

Lighten up, dear. We're not trying to argue. You posted a warning about an urban legend (something that's not true, but gets passed around anyway). It was simply called to your attention that it's NOT TRUE.

Believe if it you want to... but don't get all huffy because nobody else does.

I'm just trying point out that what may seem untrue now, but turn out to be true later. And speak for yourself, because others may believe it. And thank you, I do know what an urban legend is, no need for a vocabulary lesson.

Who wastes money on that fancy water anyway?

It's no better than tap water, even if it does cost $2.99 a bottle and claims to be "pure" water from the mountains springs of Colorado.

Go the cheap route and fill up a thermos with water from yr own tap or workplace drinking fountain.

Or, carry a bottle of $1. 29 Ripple in your car for times when you feel thirsty an/or in need of some extra special attention from bored law-enforcement employees.

Gee, why so cranky?

Must be using shampoo with sodium lauryl sulfates. That stuff will really mess one up.

I'd be more worried myself about those perfume samples that criminals try to use on ladies at the gas station so they can steal their wallets.
Woah!
Had a close call with that just yesterday!
I must not live right.

Be Warned!

There is a group of beautiful women that are raping men across the country in Home Depot parking lots!

They were here locally last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! (They must have moved on... I went again Monday and they never showed up).

Anyone with a shred of common sense knew they were bad. DOnt kid yourself. They might not of known exactly what chemicals did what to you then, but anything that makes you cough is generally not a good thing. Give those people a little credit
