real nice, all puffy clouds outside, abou 75, good for workingout and sweating.... i do alot of thatm,,,, i like it that way, then we expect showers this afternoooknnm,,, but we shall see. i was in so.Cal for many years and came here abotu 4 years ago,,, love it!

Did you surf the cold water while in So Cal?
Is there any surfing on the Gulf Coast side of Florida?

I know there's quite a surfing community on the Atlantic side.

I havn't seen a whole lot of surfers on the Gulf side,but then again I have never seen the waves get too high unless there was a hurricane coming......but down in Miami,well,that's a whole other story,you cant move 2 feet on the beaches without tripping over a surfboard.........or a half naked body.......

and you could always throw a sail on the board, or a kite and really GET IT ON!!! just keep your eyes open for the updrafts.... yikes... I want one.

windsurfing is big on the inland lakes...and at John Kerry's place..but maybe not so much now.

Welcome. I learned to surf at Santa Cruz and Capitola, in Northern CA.

North Shore of Oahu was where I learned and did most of my surfing. Longboarding.
Cool water, fair trades, nice sets, and an inviting sun. (Not to mention warm bikini'ed wahines and cold Ali'i Ales on tap afterwards.)

Doesn't get much better than that.

To the surfers,,, the planet is turning in a particular direction, and the tide comes in and out,,, the west coast of any continent is just in a better position.... well except some of the wedges and such on the oceans floor... enuff out of me on that on.
