I vote that we penalize members with public sanction for further use of the word *(warrior)*. There are certainly other words one may use in place of that particular term.

If nothing else, it may send a few looking here (http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/warrior) for a replacement.

I think we should stop talking about banning people, ie Warrior and/or Nighthawk. Freedom of speech is far to precious to be thrown out the window simply because we don't like what another person posts.

Let Warrior and/or Nighthawk post what they want and let other posters either ignore it or refute it.

If you're not used to it by now, you never will be. Every time a member comes along that ruffles a few feathers, there's always someone who starts a post or a thread about how said member should be banned, then the councils collide and debate. Somewhere along the way, someone else wants to get into it, but feels either that the previous conversation is too in-depth or is just getting way too out of hand. So they start a new thread that is supposed to be about "serious debate" on said member only. Then it all just blows up as if it were a huge controversy to ban one member.

It was done, whoever did it had a good reason to do it and I trust that it was done within the forum guidelines. Nuff said.

Some sort of utopian future society where all violence has been abolished, and money and commerce have become a thing of the past.

This is however a community. A small society of sorts.
And like any other community or society, there are standards of conduct and behavior that the MAJORITY of the inhabitants ultimately gravitate towards.

The Warr.... uh W-entity, in the opinion of the MAJORITY of the allforums members, violated those standards of conduct.

She created more conflict and animosity (big negative) than any sort of thought-provoking dialogue or conversation (value added, or positive) she brought to the table.

In short, she was a trouble-making, attention starved, emotionally-immature, unbalanced harpy.

And back to Imp's point; why are we still talking about her?

Here's why. You people, as a community, have to draw a line in the sand somewhere.

Does somebody bring some sort of value-added, or are they always going to be nothing but a big, fat, trouble-making ZERO?
And are you willing to fall back on the argument of 'freedom of speech', when the point really isn't about the freedom of the speech, but the value of the speech?

Most of you would turn your back on a smelly, dirty hobo, standing on a street corner, shouting angry and contradictory things, at the top of their lungs. You would rush on by, and hope they go away. And not ever appear on your city streets again.

So why are you debating the value of this particular smelly, dirty, web-hobo?
Just be glad she's gone.

You know, I've never quite understood the problem people have had with warrior. Then again, I never really paid too close attention to her posts. She seemed to have a habbit of cutting and pasting stuff to these boards, which is about as interesting as watching paint dry.
