Ohhhhh Noooooo Mr Wizard
I think all of us that are old enough to know better remember the greatest of all time. I distinctively remember the egg in the milk bottle trick. Did that to a couple of empty milk bottles. It really pissed mom off the next morning when it came time to cook breakfast and she went looking for the eggs...

Geez I am all traumatized now 'cause I don't know about Mr. Wizard. I never got to watch him. Obviously, I was deprived. I may sue... oh wait, my parents are dead give me nine more minutes and maybe I can figure out who to blame... :(

Mr. Wizard, ::sniff:: it's not fair all you old foggi... oops, folks are bonding on childhood memories and such...

I don't know Mr. Wizard, different era I suppose, but Capt. Kangeroo comes to mind.

The captain was cool too. Surely Sal remembers him, dont you?

My personal favorite as a kid was Sheriff John and Engineer Bill. Got hooked on model trains over that pair.

Not really, my parents weren't much for having the tv on... sat in my little wicker rocker with a book... sob...

Tv was actually discouraged in my house until I got a bit older 9 or 10ish... my parents were more book people...

The experiment I remember best was learning to put water in a gas can and heat it up until it was boiling. Then when you screwed the cap on and let it cool the air pressure crushed the can. That was pretty neat until my father wanted to mow the lawn. Fortunately he had a sense of humor and understood that children need to learn things. Of course I also got to earn money for a new gas can weeding the raspberry bed so I could learn to respect other's things.

Bill Nye the Science guy... Bill Bill Bill Bill > Mr Wizard

Did you ever see a science guy that come on like ABC on Saturday mornings...he looked a bit like Kramer and had a huge, fat talking rat that lived in his wall?

Probably not?

Beakman.

Actually, all three (Mr. Wizard, Bill Nye, & Beakman) are quite impressive.

Mr.Wixard was really fun and instructive in a mild-mannered kind
of neighborly way.His casual curiosity piqued the interest and
he seldom failed to deliever.
BTW,as a side note.
Answer me this.
WHY dint Mr.Wizard have a Tattoo.?
I wanna know why really great Americans and Kool guys don't
have to have a Tattoo,in order to be Seen or heard.
I mean, that's seems to be THE reason behind stupid Tattoo's.
