View Full Version : Kazaa is being sued
As you may have noticed, there is becoming fewer and fewer public file sharing utilitie available. Currently most utilities use something called the gnutella network, which has no central server, except for speeding up the connection process.
What does this mean?
There is currently no way to stop file sharing clients, just slow down the rate they find other host, which means you'll have to let kazaa run a couple of hours before getting enough people to share good.
Although, if you dont have the kazaa client, it may soon become hard to find, now you cant even download it!

it is going to be harder to get my music files which i like so much...eh heh...but seriously, without kazaa and aimster and stuff like that, it [i:b2a1aabf3b]will[/i:b2a1aabf3b] be hard to get mp3s and stuff, cause then i'll have to use hotline, and its a pain in the ass to find files

Yall disaapoint me.
I mean if your going to clearly pirate some type of software, or songs, or what have you, then whats wrong with banners? I mean if your downloading a cd that costs 15 bucks a few advitisements in return, nothing wrong with that....
Just my point of view.

i dont think you're understanding what im saying. They tell you to go to all these sites, and click on links, and look for words that are the login/passwords for the servers. Most of the sites they tell you to go to are porn sites, and it is very irritating.
I dont use those programs anyways.. But- The person who really owns the software isn't seeing a dime, so why should the people helping other people pirate get money?
If they think everything should be free why they trying to make money!

Thats exactly what I am saying Jimmy, I mean photoshop is one of the most highest pirated software out there. Yet ppl complain its so high, maybe it is so high to make up for lost sales ya know...
Steve if u get it no reason to complain is there?
