In 1832 a group of 57 Irish Immigrants were brought to the United States to lay one of the most difficult miles of American Railway, Duffy's Cut of the Pennsylvania Railway.
Within weeks all 57 were dead and buried in a mass grave. They're families back in Ireland never told of they're demise. The Railroad company was involved in a major cover up, what happened to these men?
Recent Archiological digs in the area may have found they're resting place.

Thanks Sedan.
I believe a church minister from the Malvern area has located the grave,
tho if its Cholera they would be better off left alone.

Why the cover up?
Cholera was common in those days.

Were the bigwigs worried that they couldn't get more hapless souls to work on their project?

So could they have been afraid they couldn't contain the cholera outside of the group, didn't want to give them any medical aid and just executed them?

What happened to the guy who brought them over Duffy whatever?
