View Full Version : It looks like someone finally talked some sense into Paris Hilton

She issued a statement today saying she would do the rest of her jail time without complaining and asking that those more important that she be thought about, ie, the men and women serving in Iraq.

This is the first smart move by Paris' handlers since the case began. They have finally convinced her that acting like a child can only cause the public to scorn her and laugh at her as a spoiled, rich brat.

Too bad she didn't act this way right from the beginning.

She's paying them enough. Then again, when you give a spoilt child advise, they are likely to think they know better. Especially when you have been reinforced that way their whole life.

Her parents need a smack up along side the head.

Too bad she didn't follow the rules the way everyone else has to in the first place, she wouldn't have had to go through all this. I don't quite agree with the fact that Paris was freed, then brought back to jail. That would screw anybody up. But I am glad that the judge made it clear that when someone is sentenced to serve time in jail, that time gets served, dammit.

She deserves an Oscar in the tantrum throwing category.

I personally feel kind of bad for her.

Sure, Paris deserved jail. But it must suck to have been put in jail for 20 or so days, taken OUT of jail and put on house arrest and then put BACK in jail for the full 45 days. Ouch.

Plus, because of the LA prisions (being over-crowded) she is/was placed with "high risk" inmates, and that is why she was mentally unstable. Hell, I would be too if I was put around people who attempted murder.

Regardless, she is paying the price for her actions. However, I can't help but think she is being made an, "example" of on National TV to prove a point. Who knows?

All I know is that Paris Hilton is, for the most part, nice to everyone she meets. On her TV show, which I have watched, she is nice to everyone she meets.

Paris went to a fat camp, and many people from that camp have recently said how nice and supportive she was there and how the media is far too harsh on her.

Sure, she is spoiled and selfish with her money, but she isn't a cold-hearted bitch who is mean/rude to everyone.

Just my two cents. However, I can see it now. "You always support your female idols!"..."You are just like Paris, no wonder you support her"...Oh well? I'm happy to be in the minority on this one. Someone has to be.

Just let to make it clear: Paris deserved jail time. But I don't agree with the way they are going about it nor do I think she gets a fair reputation in the media.

The reason for the high risk area is twofold. First is to get her stable. If her mental health is an issue, as it apparently is, she can get treatment there. The second reason ios to protect her. The general population could be a very dangerous place for a beautiful rich heiress.

Personally, this shouldn't have been as big of a deal as it was made out to be. It just is because people love to hate Paris. She walks around, flaunting off every rich thing she's got, even right in front of people who will never earn a fraction of what she has been handed. Knowing that she, in a sense, has been defeated by the system just makes it provocative information.

The world is glued to her every move.

Paris Hilton has undergone a drastic transformation while in prison. She is still a bitch though.

Maybe the turn came after someone blew up that photo of her crying and posted it in her cell.

I'm tired of hearing and reading about it. Personally with all the rest of the people who break the law and get off with no time, i'm not sure she should even be there in the first place. And since she is...who cares. That's all the news can talk about right now. It will be such a big deal when she actually gets out and it will only heighten her celebrity status...no matter how many times she looks like a spoiled brat.

Over it... next subject please.

I'm with you, Musiq....I appreciated one of the local radio stations here this morning proclaiming that they 'WOULD NOT BE AIRING ANYTHING ABOUT PARIS'. I left it on that station for that reason.

Personally...I couldn't give a rats butt about this broad:rolleyes: In fact when we watched the movie, "House of Wax" and she was in it and it came time for her "death" in that garage, I was so hoping when that pole went through her forehead that would have been the last we would have seen of her. Buuuuuut noooooooooo! It was only a movie:corn:

She doesn't have to write it, she will pay a ghostwriter a few thousand dollars to write something her people like. Her name and picture go on the cover and she makes a bunch of money.

Now that Paris is 'reforming', I bet the next thing she'll do is go to another country and buy a baby.....that seems to be the trend for celebrities now, right?
