My day off right, easy day with my son. He has a dr appointment at 10am then the rest of the day is ours. Cool.

Around 11:00am wife calls wants to know if we want to go to lunch with her ar noon. She already sounds sick, we get there, she is surrounded by three co workers with severe stomach pain.

I take her to the Emergency Room. In the meantime, I take Evan to his uncles house. In essence we spend six hours there. One ct scan and a little morphine and we find out she has a severe urinary infection. Appendics and gall bladder seem to be fine. So right now she is sleeping, after taking her meds, and I'm sitting here still catching my breath. There was a few moments there where I had to seriously think what would happen, should the worse happen. I didn't like what I saw. Still the bullet has been dodged. So now just have to take care of her for a few days.

Real eye opener, eh? Scary indeed. I'm glad they caught it in time, hopefully she'll be better soon.
Your real challenge now will be to keep baby quiet so momma can sleep. Good luck. :)

I'm glad it has all worked out so far. Dodging a bullet can lead to thinking about what might happen. My best advice is not to dwell on it, but do make some plans. Review your insurance situation for example. Most important of all, realize that nothing in life is certain. Make sure to live each day as well as you can, and to appreciate those people around you.

it's been a m-f'er of a week here..it appear that the fainting spells my X-gf's been having are from a leaky heart valve...which is a relief-something that can be fixed:rolleyes:

if only she'd had that checked out when they started 8 years ago..
