I missed you so much I gained 3 pounds... also I spout political jibberish all the time... it's just sheer ignorance on my part... and that's likely good that I know that.

1. Internship - Working with the Planning and Development department of Dallas County, Iowa. Basically, I make maps all day.

2. Apartment - Moved into my new one about a month ago. 810 sq. ft., private deck, garage included, energy-efficient appliances, and the best part of it all....sattelite TV (DirecTV) is paid for. Quite the deal.

3. And the biggest story of them all.......my girlfriend and I, as of last month, are officially engaged. The date is set for May 17th of next year. Joyous occasion indeed!

I should mention as well, that I get to do more later on with my internship, such as revising the comprehensive plan for the county and traveling throughout the area to look for junk car lots and have them removed. I;ve actually already done it once to some guy's property and later signed off on some "authorization of demolition" papers for all of his vehicles. Ahhh, the power!

But yes, I can't complain about how things have gone thus far. I hope everyone is finding equal happiness, at least on some scale.

Funny thing is, as you get older, and have things set up pretty much how you love things to be... well then change would not be such a good thing.
