:confused: How come the great sport of baseball seems to give home field advantage in the playoffs away instead of making teams earn it?

I dont agree with the move to make the all-star game winner the league with home field advantage in the world series. But it is playoff time, and ill just vent on the upcoming Florida - Chicago series. I think it is horribly unfair to penalize the marlins simply because they were in a tougher division than the cubs. For those who dont know, the cubs have the home field advantage in the upcoming NLCS simply because they won their weak division and the marlins won the wildcard. The fact that the marlins have the better record even in the tougher division doesnt matter. I think baseball needs to get off their asses and hire a REAL commisioner that can help the game instead of this leech that currently has the title.
