Tonight is the season 3 finale of House, MD - the most creative show on television that features the most talented actor on television - Hugh Laurie.

Any other House fans out there?

I was watching the show before I left home, but that was a year and a half ago, I liked it quite a bit. Maybe I'll go d/l some seasons on itunes or something. Although I kinda wanna get the 3rd season of The Office as well. Heroes ended and I'm not sure when it's going to pick back up.

I've only seen 3 shows, last night makes 4. I like the show. I don't normally watch tv but seen your thread and turned it on and watched it.

I love House. I have the series automatically taped so that there is no chance I will miss an episode.

Last night's episode was great. Foreman left for another position, Chase wasa fired and Cameron handed in her resignation. It looks like three of the main characters on the show may not be back next year. That was a ballsy move.

This show was a good one.

Do you think Cameron, Chase or Foreman will be back next season? Or, are they gone for good?

Yeah, they did.

I don't know much about it, but I'd guess that Chase isn't, but they other two will be back.

I think something happens to Dr. House in the season opener for next year. Dad said something about the preview saying "You can't die." My guess is that in light of something happening to Dr. House - his three fellowships will come to his aide and rely on what he has tought them to save him.

I am always for keeping things fresh - but cast moves (especially three of the 6 main characters) is a huge gamble...so I sorta hope they all come back.

Are you just guessing based on the story or did you read something about the actor? I've been trying to see if the actors are still under contract with the show. I notice on Wikipedia the character's pages are in past tense (i.e. Dr. Chase HAD a fellowship...) while the actors are still listed as currently working for the show.

There was a preview for next year? Dayum, how'd I miss that?

I love House. I've loved Hugh Laurie for years! He's always awesome.

Thanks, Lager. I was afraid I'd missed out.

As for wondering what will happen next season, here's some interesting news

A great and relieving find, mary. I would like to see the addition of some more characters. Each season someone joins for a few episodes such as Edward Vogler in Season 1, Stacy Warner in Season 1-2, and Michael Tritter this season - but none, as of yet, have been a stable character.

As for the preview - I'm not sure what Dad seen. He could have imagined it for all I know and I had a feeling they hadn't started shooting yet. Though - I think my premise would be a great opener for next season.

I'm guessing based on the story and his reaction to Jennifer, nothing else.

Yep, another House fan here. I just bought seasons 1 and 2 for only $41 at deepdiscount.com. I've seen all the episodes but it's one of those rare shows I needed to own (aside from Rescue Me!!).

I was pleased with the season finale. It was indeed a bold move that creates a lot of possibilities. I like the idea of House becoming sick and Chase/Foreman/Cameron coming back to save him. It's one of the only ways the writers could bring them back and make it believable. Though honestly I'd be surprised if Cameron didn't return just because she likes House... her resigning didn't feel entirely honest in my opinion. She will be back.

Only a brilliant mind like David Shore could come up with that....oh right, that was me. :D

I think that the show is BRILLIANT. I absolutely love it. I think I reached 316 or 317; just a few episodes away from the finale.

I have to say I had to skip a few posts to avoid any spoilers! Maybe you should consider adding "SPOILER" before the post for those who haven't watched the entire series yet.

Laurie is better than the entire cast of Grey's Anatomy.

The show is awesome. I think. It kicks @$$ over every other show except one that may come to mind. (Doctor Who). But it does rock!

What does everyone think will happen in the next season? Making 3 characters resign is a huge risk

The three doctors (Chase, Formean, and Cameron) have been confirmed as returning but in different roles. The new doctors will be made up of 3 men and two women. One of the men is Kai Penn (of Van Wilder fame.)

They have posted some sneak peek shots online. I'll post them below.

House is always the same. Patient arrives, no one knows what is wrong. House recomends something radical, everyone ignores him, but in the end he is right. It is like Gilligans island, you know they are never going to actually get off the island, but they are always so close!
