According to the learned sports writers around the country, Rush Limbaugh stepped on his schwantz the other day. He dared to bring up the idea that the NFL is very interested in seeing black quarterbacks & coaches do well. Isn't that factual? If such is not the case, then why the uproar from the NFL bosses when a team owner goes looking for a new coach & doesn't hire a black man? Furthermore, was Jimmy the Greek really wrong when he said blacks had been bred to be large by slave owners? It's a damn shame when some in this country have become so timid (and afraid) to talk about racial issues out loud.

What is the scope about Rush buying drugs off the black market?
As far as the statement I don't see where it is racial, but I do like to see Rush get knocked down a peg or two. I don't hate him, but I do get sick of his know everything additude, when all he really does is copy other folks in the media. Sometimes he does have interesting things to say, but most of the time I get the feeling he is trying to build himself into some sort of God like power. Just my opinion.......

It probably is true that probably most of the media wants black coaches and players to do well. Hell, even I like to see black QBs and coaches succeed. As to whether the media gives them a free pass I guess I don't know. But Rush was brought on as a commentator and he was certainly offering his opinions, which were not racist. All of the hard core liberals are so ready to pounce on stuff like this that they don't even bother to actually read what was said. It was negative and it involved blacks - therefore it was racist.
On the other hand, I can't find myself garnering a lot of sympathy for Rushbo - he knew, or should've known, that any comment along those lines would cause this to happen. That's just the PC climate today. I wonder how many of these people calling for his head were complaining about the "censorship" of the Dixie Chicks earlier this year?
For the record, I think McNabb is a good QB surrounded by a bunch of crappy receivers.

I simply don't understand that when a white man makes a statement that could be construed as racist, he loses his job. But when a black man says something similar, it gets dismissed. Wasn't it only months ago that Dusty Baker said that blacks could handle pressure better than whites? He still has his job. And what about when Reggie White...or was it Smith...listed on paper what he thought each race was good at. And what about the people that said the SAME THING about Jason Sehorn that Rush said about Donovan McNabb??
I just don't understand why there is such hypocrisy!

Silly boy, blacks can't be racist! Only white people, and maybe Koreans (just saying what I've heard said - I don't actually think Koreans are racist).
