Not being a pc whizz, actually a bit dumb when it comes to computers
I NEED HELP.

My laptop speakers are sounding like chipmunks.
Now I tried Micresofts advice about sounds but its still the same.

How old is your laptop? Maybe the speakers are broken? Plug some headphones into your laptop and see if they sound weird too.

The laptop is a year old.

There's your problem, Paul.:D

If you checked using headphones and still the same problem,then you or somebody that you to re-install the sound driver files which you can download for free from pacard Bell or perhaps you can find it with the motherboard disc which is supplied with the Pc.
