Hey Drew (or mods),
What's up with the banner ad? You finally making a buck off this place?
I'm not complaining, mind you. In fact, I'm a bit surprised that it's taken this long. But I am curious. How popular does a site have to be before it can make decent advertising revenue? Will there be more? Are we moving up in the wide world of internet forums?

Seeing as this place is frequented by maybe, 50 people max, I don't think he'll be making much lol.

Regular posters, yes. But what of the visitors or the members that only stick around for a day?
He'll make...not just 50 cents, but 70!

Maybe it's his company.

I think we had them a few years ago. I hadn't really noticed their absence.

Maybe it's his company.
We're being raped by his corporate propaganda rather than some other company's whozawutzit!
Blame Bush.

Unless someone "clicks" on the damn thing, no one makes any money.

The site is not going to have banner ads as the norm. Allforums doesn't make any money and it never will. I have no interest in Allforums being about making money.
That doesn't mean I won't from time to time use the forum to promote something I am involved with (not that using Allforums for that is really effective, but anyway).
The exfuze thing is a new juice that has a lot of good stuff in it. A few years ago a drink called MonaVie was launched and it was (and is still) wildly successful with millions of $ in sales. eXfuse is basically the same deal just better, MonaVie is an Acai fruit based drink, exfuze is too, but has a lot of other stuff too.
I'm only really involved with it because there are some tie ins to my other stuff (the fitness / wellness service I posted about a few weeks back) - this is being branded as a service for exfuze distributors.
exfuze (as is monavie) is marketed via a MLM system (basically a pyramid scheme of sorts like Amway etc, although it's what's called a binary MLM - you can only have 2 people directly below you, so you automatically get distributors being put below you from the people above you). These things can be great if you get in early and now is early - exfuze hasn't launched yet. Whereas Monavie probably has 400,000 distributors - exfuze doesn't even have 1500 yet. So, beside the other stuff I mentioned, I also signed up as a distributor because why not - it's a great opportunity.
I put the banner here so site visitors could check it out too & if they see the same opportunity become a distributor too, before this thing launches and explodes like Monavie did. I know a guy who makes $1500 a week from Monavie which isn't bad - that doesn't mean he is getting something for nothing, he isn't - he had to work for that, but the potential is there, especially if you get in early.
I'll take the banner down in a while. You might not see another banner for years!

but how does it taste?
DrewM

like crap
No, just kidding. I haven't drank any because it hasn't launched yet. Monavie tastes good so I would imagine it is the same. The deal is if you take vitamins etc then this has all that and a lot more, plus it's from natural fruits. I ordered 4 bottles to see how it works out - each 32 oz bottle lasts a month. If it's good then i'll drink that every day instead of the handful of rite-aid vitamins I take each day now, as a distributor you get it wholesale.

Drew,
Check out the recent report connecting overuse of multi-vitamins and increased prostate cancer in its deadliest form.

Yeah I saw that too, even more reason to drink fruit extracts instead of pills

exfuze has different ingredients. The main ingredient (the only ingredient in monavie) is the Acai fruit.

my wife signed up for someting very similar. It was an acai based health juice. they said the same thing. "Get in on the ground floor before it really takes off!" They did a couple of training calls and gave her the run around for a few months before she decided to give it up. It was a waste of time and money. Not once did she ever get a specific answer to any of her questions. Since then this is the third Acai based fruit health drink I have seen advertised. Just be careful Drew, thats all.

Be careful of what? My interest as I explained is selling a web based service to their distributors, I just happened to also sign up as a distributor because the thing hasn't launched yet. There is no money to waste - it doesn't cost anything to be a distributor, the only cost is if you want the juice for yourself.
Regarding MLM - Most people will not make anything from MLM because they have no ability to get people in their downline. Some people make a lot of money from MLM, but you have to be able to create a downline. 2 years after a product launches that is much harder because the market is saturated.
