That's great for a start!
The ones most people know are those, plus Cinnamon Girl, Down by the River, Cowgirl in the Sand, and Alabama.
But Neil goes so much deeper, he has so many great songs out there!

There are tons of him, and a million more of every Tom, Dick and Harry covering his songs on youtube!
If you like good song writing and acoustic music, you will love Neil!

"Sedan Delivery"
Last night I was cool
at the pool hall
Held the table for eleven games
Nothing was easier
than the first seven
I beat a woman with varicose veins.
She stopped to see
herself in the mirror
Fix her hair and hide heir veins
And she lost the game.
Next day I went to the dentist
He pulled some teeth
and I lost some blood
We'd like to thank you
for the cards you sent us
My wives and I were all choked up.
I recall how Caesar and Cleo
Made love in the Milky Way
They needed boats
and armies to get there
I know there's a better way.
I saw the movie and I read the book
But when it happened to me
I sure was glad I had what it took
To get away.
Gotta get away, gotta get away
Gotta get away, gotta get away
I'm making another delivery
Of chemicals and sacred roots
I'll hold what you have to give me
But I'll use what I have to use.
The lasers are in the lab
The old man
is dressed in white clothes
Everybody says he's mad
No one knows
the things that he knows.
No one knows, no one knows
No one knows, no one knows
I'm sleepin' in every hallway
I just can't accept the stares
I'm using too many covers
I'm warm now so I don't care.
I'm thinkin' of no one in my mind
Sedan delivery
is a job I know I'll keep
It sure was hard to find.
Hard to find. hard to find
Hard to find. hard to find

The only thing I know about Neil Young is that he needs to remember a southern man don't need him around anyhow.

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young destroys what music is.
Some people say music can be like nails on a chalkboard, for me CSNY is to me like Zyklon B is to Jews.
I can only imagine what his solo stuff sounds like.

I was never a big fan of CSN or CSNY myself, but Neil Young rocks,---Down by the River is a good 'un, and Sugar Mountain; and Stephen Sills wrote one of the best songs ever, Southern Cross.

I'd rather be small and have good and varied taste in music than listen to Neil-My-voice-sounds-like-cats-dying-and-I-can't-play-interesting-guitar-Young, somehow justifying that awful taste by saying "It's old so it must be good! Young people have awful taste!"

No, it's just you are so closed minded about music it seems.
I listen to everything from the Meat Puppets, The Smiths, Indigo Girls, Bare Naked Ladies, Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Black Flag, Lisa Loeb, Damien Rice, Beastie Boys, NWA, Yess, The Floating Men, The Replacements, kd lang, Lyle Lovett, Dave Matthews, Wide Spread Panic and Heart to name a few.
Open your mind to other kinds of music-there is a lot of good stuff out there!

I listen to every genre outside of gospel, and that is not an exaggeration. I just have a beef with Neil.

Only if you make a playlist with dub and black metal! Then I will take you out to dinner and dance on the tables singing renditions from musicals no one saw while in a ferret costume.
A grand time will be had by all, save the restaurant staff!

I like his 70's stuff the best. I also like Rockin in the Free world. I like him with Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young too. He makes them a super-group :woohoo: :woohoo: because I have seen them together and without Young.

I saw Crosby,Stills and Nash in Las Vegas must have been 84 or near then. They played at Ceasar's Palace outdoors at the tennis courts. Which was a strange place for a concert. I saw Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young in 2000 in Denver. They were excellent and Neil Young was really good. He did a lot of his solo stuff with them.

I AM SO JEALOUS of the Denver show! Was it at Red Rock?
I have a DVD with him solo (well, with his band) at Red Rock.
