I think she needs to be in jail. What a prissy little (censor). She knew she was violating her probation because she signed an a agreement and then claimed to the judge( she didn't know her license was revoked) RIGHT. She got exactly what she deserved. I hope it is not some celebrity jail. I want her sitting with all the drug addicts and robbers.

For starters, her DUI, according to what I understand, was right at the bare minimum of 0.08 so she wasn't exactly snot-slinging, curb-crawling drunk. That fact makes somewhat of a difference in how I view this whole thing.

OTOH, there is no excuse for her apparent stupidity with her plea of "I didn't know my license was suspended" ... unless she was just trying to top here other stupid stunt of driving with her lights out ... WTF??? Even student drivers with learners permits know that will get you in trouble.

More than likely, she won't do the whole 45 days. Having 50 million of her own bucks and a family with hundreds of millions more, I just don't see it happening. 'Sides, what good will it do. She impresses me as the kind of person that would make the best of her time, regardless of the length and even might enjoy it and certainly she will find a way to turn it into her favor.

There's little doubt that her hollywood friends will make her a martry and when released she will be even more popular and famous than she is already.

Alhough I don't sympathize with her much, the punishment she is getting is much harsher than someone would get in Texas. Typical first-time DWI is 12 months probation here....36 is ridiculous.

Of course, when you're driving around with your headlites off at 11 at night, and your license is suspended, AND you are on probation, I think jail time is appropriate.
