Okay here's the deal...

I'm shooting a futuristic music video... and the theme is pretty much when WW3 goes down, or the aftermath.. the new technological era...

I'll be shooting most of the stuff myself, but I need clips of certain things and I was hoping I could get some off-hand hints from the allforums collective...

I need:

A-bomb explosions
Cities torn down, ripped apart, on fire...
Distorted, static-like, shots

Some of the movies I came up with were..

Terminator, Terminator 2, Resident Evil, Matrix....

I need movies that deal with the end of the world, or the nuclear holocaust, or future wars... My movie knowledge is pretty limited... anyone have any suggestions?

BTW the song i'm doing the video to is "Me, I'm Not" by Nine Inch Nails..

99 red balloons! yeah thats a good one lol. If you want NIN though, then Id go with "Closer" haha.

Just rip stuff off of Youtube and such for clips. Make sure you look up the old Civil Service 50's and 60's adds, those are funny.

How about Logans Run, or the Time Machine (original). Those are two old classics for end of the world stuff. Mad max is also another good one. Oh and if your feeling really desperate, Waterworld.

Children of Men would be good. 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks later.

You could probably get some good footage from the Under Pressure music video by Queen and David Bowie.

Throw in the guy who does "the robot" on Chappelle's Show.

You could borrow heavily from the images in here:
Wierd Al's Christmas At Ground Zero.

Hilarious dark-comedy. But chock full of the kind of video clips you'll need.
