The reason this is my favorite television show is because it dealt with every day issues, that wouldn’t get solved in a 30-minute time slot. Some of the issues/topics included money issues, finding work, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, sex, college, relationships, strained family relationships, homosexuality, your first period, depression, child abuse and spouse abuse. They included these topics while having a believable cast. Everyone that ever acted on Roseanne was believable and was a great addition to the show. Having great acting and great topics for each episode and LAUGH OUT LOUD situations and lines makes this my favorite show to date. It was a groundbreaking show that broke all the rules of what a family was supposed to look like on TV.

Wonderful show and wonderful women! No wonder so many people watched it! It stayed in the Top 5 most watched shows for 6 years and won many awards.
