I disagree with you here, LEGAL is the way it HAS to be done. I most certainly can fault someone for trying to get a better life through illegal means. There are many that come here and can't make enough so they turn to drug dealing, gangs, robbery. I disagree. The ILLEGALS who are here now need to be deported. If you dont want to break up families, take the children with you when you go. In the years I have been using this system, I have rejected 8 to 10 job applicants because of questionable documents. Few of them were smart enough to carry matching ID. Most had clearly phony documents, that anyone would see through. Only those companies wanting to hire illegals are "fooled" by them.

Paul, the verification request should be sent to the Social Security Administration, not the IRS. You can request verification of, up to, 10 names and SSN, and receive an "immediate" responce. In most cases it takes longer to type the request than it does to get an answer. Now if you want to run more than 10 verifications, at once, SSA indicates a next business day reply. I don't know about that, I never submitted more than 10, at one time.
