USA somehow expanded too aggressive activity imposing our democracy model to different backward poverty-stricken countries through NGOs. Of course I’m sorry of their miserable destiny. But why should we use such methods for White House plans realization? All those shady affairs of our special service with American and European independent foundations just discredit United States. Some of them are very unwelcome in raw of European and CIS countries. Especially they’re undesirable in those ones where revolts had been conducted not long ago. Also many of officials of those foundations are accused of espionage for USA. Particularly in Russia where such foundations have become too active recently and rub elbows with dubious organizations of nationalist kind. And again our country is made out aggressive predator.
Aren’t there any more honest and peaceful ways of bringing light of democracy? Or it turns out that USA, Europe and independent foundations are concourse of maniac half-wits that are dreaming of enslavement of the whole globe.

You can't bring democracy to a foreign country. Neither with bombs, nor with money. Any nation (if it wants) will come to democracy itself without foreign help, especially american one.
