:confused:who says we hate those frog eating, wine swilling surrender monkeys? the whole country takes August off after only working 35 hours a week the rest of the year, what's not to love? it's not like they were any economic threat....unless you're in soap or women's razor sales.

Do I detect a certain amount of jealousy?

35 hours a week.....
That fact alone makes me want to be French! It seems like Americans just don't know how to relax sometimes.

i've been relaxing for the last 18 months...if it weren't for the hope that my leg will heal, i'd go nuts.

Im sure the people of France wont loose any sleep over whether Americans like them or not. Just as long as plane loads of American tourists continue to land in Paris every day.

Thats something we should also do.. not lose sleep over whether people like us or not... it seems most liberals, and some conservatives, feel the need to be liked, and will do only what will save them face, and not what they think they should do...
you have to have a core structure if you are going to go anywhere...

There are people who envy America because of its wealth and power and cultural dominance. There are also people who would destroy America for religious or ideological reasons.
Most people around the world, however, have an admiration for America and what it stands for, and all the time emulate American culture and consume American soft drinks.
We need to keep this "anti-American" stuff in proportion.

In fact, this French bashing thingy has gotten so popular,
I even decided to give up French Kissin.
Of course eating French cheese and Gooseliver, helps to
disuade any willing participant,beforehand.
My Backhand could use some work, also.

Exactly, Decka. I could give a shit if those self-righteous cocks like us or not. "Cultural differences", my ass. Those people are flat-out rude. Never before have I visited a country with such beautiful scenery, rolling hills, wonderful food, and great Bordeaux.....
It's just a crying goddamned shame that French people inhabit it.

Good point. I was simply running out of good things to say about Surrenderville. If I had said burgundy, I would've been in the same position (and I do like both, but I digress).
