Why do you assume no one knows that Adidas are made in Germany (among other countries like the Czech Republic).

Here is a little history of Adidas athletic shoes.

The shoes were first made in the town of Herzogenaurach, Bayern by two brothers, Adolf and Rudolf Dassler. The brothers had some falling out for unknown reasons and split the company. Rudolf began calling his sneakers Pumas. Both companies are still located in Herzogenaurach.

I had a nearly $1000 system in my Camaro when I had it. I played rap, and some bangin techno, and some rock as well, just because it sounded good lol. I dont like rap though. I didnt really listen to it before I had that system, and I havent listened to it at all since.

I'm too old to listen to that nonsense.

It bugs the hell out of me when they do that. It doesn't sound good, Phryex. I don't know what your "homies" have been telling you - but most people are annoyed. It often leads to my dad violently waving his middle finger and yelling "Turn down that damn music - I'm trying to drive!" - Which I would often reply, "Dad we're at a red light." He would then stare at me and I would shut up.

I don't care what kind of music it is, it shouldn't be played so loud every other driver within three miles has to listen to it. I especially hate the extra heavy bass some cars have.

I happen to like rap, but good older school stuff. Fuck 50 cent. Gimme that Wu Tang Clan, that NWA, Dr. Dre, Run DMC, Gangstar, Ice T, Public Enemy, Ghetto Boys. I'll listen to that all day. And on a note of white rappers, old Eminem, MC Paul Barman (hilarious Jewish rapper), and Aesop Rock.

As long as the music has character, I don't mind listening to it, as long as it doesn't make my eardrums bleed. People who listen to it as a "fashion statement" should have their heads cut off by 8 inch records, strangled in 8-track tape, and beaten to death with i-pods. I'll do it myself, because I'm a wanksta like that ;).

For me - it has nothing to do with my dislike of rap in general (though I do enjoy very little of it.) It is just how they listen to it. I hate the "bumpin."

As far as enjoyable rap - I like Eminem, Beastie Boys, Nelly, WuTang, and gotta love the classics Ice, Ice Baby by Mr. Van Winkle and Informer by Snow. I'm not sure what is worse - the number of white rappers or the fact that I enjoy most of them.

I do have a good bit of hip-hop/R&B in my music library. It's good for dancing and stuff.

As far as what I actually listen to, and what I would blast in a car if I had one, anything classic rock and of course, Johnny Cash.

My favorite song to blast while screaming down the highway is "America, Fuck Yeah!"
