The 12 year anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing.

Last Saturday was the 95th Anniversary of the sinking of RMS Titanic.

Tomorrow will be the 8th Anniversary of The Columbine Massacre.


And of course....Monday - the virgina tech massacre.



I know that one can probably find tragedy in any one week if you look through history - but I just had this on my mind.

14 years since waco - wow time flies.

I was in the US on a vaction (b4 I lived here) and drove with a bunch of people squashed into a car from Minneapolis to South Padre Island for Spring break and on the way back we happened to stop for gas in Waco and noticed all the tanks and stuff - we didn't even know that standoff was going on. We tried to drive close to the compound to check it out but it was all surrounded by military stuff.

No, I knew nothing about it. It wasn't until later that I found out what the whole thing was that was going on in waco when we happened to drive thru.
