Allforums is a wierd and wonderful place, and full of oddly beautiful and interesting people.
Me you can trust, the others I am not so sure of.

Be especially cautious around Borghunter.
He may at first impress you as an urbane and charming fellow. And to be sure, he has an impressive resume, a shiny automobile, and a fancy, tastefully-decorated apartment.

But dark and unspeakable things go on in that apartment, and particularly in the kitchen.

You see, Borghunter is sadobakerist.
That's right, he bakes in a cruel and cavalier fashion, and he pays no attention whatsoever to the recipes.

His cookies? Burnt beyond recognition.
Cakes? Flat and totally void of sugar or baking soda.
His pies? Underdone and cool in the middle.
It's a crime I tell you, and why nobody ever does anything about it I'll never know.

Please show some discretion, and whatever you do, don't let Borghunter know that I told you all this. He thinks I like his baked treats, but I only pretend to in order to preserve the friendship.

And I fear the night.

I try to downplay the nutty part. Most people back away slowly when you tell them you've written your own Monty Python-type sketch and done some Far Side-type cartoons. I get the feeling I can let a little more of that show than I usually do on most forums. This is going to be FUN.

Let's see, right now we have HOMEMADE chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies, plus shortbread bites. If there's anything you'd like, I'm sure I can find a recipe. (See, that's the secret to the Dark Side. We don't make people act a certain way, we encourage them to find the dark side of themselves.)
