AMERICANS NOT WELCOME AT S. KOREAN CAFE

Not allowed: Anti-Americanism has swept South Korea after two US soldiers - travelling in their mine-clearing vehicle - knocked down and killed two South Korean girls. A United States military jury acquitted an American soldier of negligent homicide charges. :cat:

There's the same shit in Kyrgyzstan after an american soldier "accidently" shot one of the security guys of the air base where he served.

This isn't anything new. I remember being asked to leave a couple of bars in Korea because they didn't cater to Americans. However, I'd also seen bars that catered solely to American soldiers.

That is really old Dunkirk. That happened quite a bit before I got to Korea. And Ive never been turned away at a Korean business. Ive heard of no one else being turned away ether. I mean im sure it happenes, but its rare, we give South Korea a TON of business.

True, it's rare. Of the countless bars and restaurants I went to in Korea I was only turned away from two.

The same applies to my time there in the mid-70's. Not something I ever encountered.

Thats a relief to hear. The topic and photo of this post was sent to me from a very good friend of mines that I thought I would bring to the attention of everyone here. I'm glad that South Korea is not turning against us. :)
