I would NOT marry my 1st boyfriend (He was my 1st for everything and I was true to him). He turned into a batterer, and I divorced him. He is now under investigation for his current (deceased) wifes mysterious death. He says that she was changing a light bulb at the top of the stairs and accidentaly fell down the stairs. An investigator asked me if my exhusband ever tried to smother me (I answered yes). I think he is going to prison, where he belongs. (sorry for such a long answer).

Have you ever played a prank on someone and you regretted doing it?

Down Under
05-15-2007, 09:10 AM
yes, we put a mate on the train drunk the night of his stag. He got in trouble for being drunk and disorderly and spent the night in jail. His fiancee gave us all a tongue lashing and well they got married but us mates were in the shit list for a long time.

Do you have the life you always wanted?

(did his fiancee forgive you?)

Back to the game....No, I do not have the life I anticipated, but many unexpected good things have come my way.....so I think it is OK and am satisfied.

If you have disputes with family members would you like to have an opportunity to forgive them and re-establish ties with them?

It depends on how fresh the wounds are. I'm battling an issue with the hubby and not sure if forgiveness and re-establishment is the route to go. I'm leaned alot to no, because he refuses to change his ways and there is nothing I can do about it.
Forgive would come with change on their part.

In what cases*if any* do you think it is right for anyone to hit another person?

shortstuff
05-16-2007, 12:31 AM
I don't feel hitting is ever right, but defending is another thing. You have the right to defend your self any way you can to stay alive.

Can you love something or some one to much?

Can you love something or some one to much?

Yes. Because love can be blind. Your head tells you one thing and your heart can tell you another thing, then you usually follow your heart and it often turns out your head was right. It is hard to listen to your inner intuition because your heart over-rules it.

If you had the opportunity to get-ahead at work if you harmed someone elses career (which they don't really deserve), would you do it? On one side it is a dog-eat-dog world, but on the other hand, we should do what is right.

Imp
05-17-2007, 05:54 PM
It is a dog eat dog world and if someone else was in that position, they wouldn't hesitiate to do the same to you. So I'd have to say yes. That's one of the prime reasons you never mix business with friends or friends with business.

If you see a mother spank her child in public *say said child is carrying on and throwing a tantrum at a check out line*, do you report her or not?

Down Under
05-18-2007, 02:58 PM

Jenny_92808
05-19-2007, 01:46 PM
Sometimes the smart thing to do is give up and try a new stategy.

Do you know your neighbors? (some of them, none of them or most of them?) And have you ever had a dispute with a neighbor?

Imp
05-19-2007, 06:11 PM
Yes, I'm getting to know them. The ones across from me are moving out soon.

I did make the ones to the right of me mad. Her 3 year old was outside screaming while playing and I asked her to make him stop. She got mad and went back inside. I've gone over to chitchat with her a few days later so we are ok now I guess.

DO you go to casinos?

Have you ever wanted revenge on someone for hurting another?

es347fan
05-21-2007, 09:00 AM
Most definitely. Setting the offender up & watching their downfall is exquisite. I provided great lengths of rope for a supervisor to hang themselves one time, and they did so in front of 300 professional colleagues. What a wonderful experience. I got to sit and watch as a surprise attendee verbally eviscerated that supervisor in the middle of a keynote presentation during a conference.

Have you ever experienced stage fright? If so, what have you done about it?

Imp
05-21-2007, 10:47 PM
Yes, a few times, both singing and acting. Ironically both of them where in NYC in front of LARGE crowds, it freaked me out because there were soooo many people. I kept giving myself a pep talk, while shaking like a leaf. Looking over their heads into the background helped alot. Once I started I was fine, it was getting going from point zero.

Have you ever told a friends secret after you promised you wouldn't?

Ride4Life
05-22-2007, 12:15 AM
No, I havent, and since my credability is on the line, I'll take it to my grave. I wish I could say the same about ones I've told secrets to.

Have you ever told a secret to a few friends, and modified it slightly to find out who the mouth belonged to?

Yes, Trust issues I guess. I hate back stabbers.

Have you ever been so happy to be home you never want to leave?

Jenny_92808
05-22-2007, 08:01 PM
Yes, Trust issues I guess. I hate back stabbers.

Have you ever been so happy to be home you never want to leave?

Yes, Once after driving home alone in a thunder storm when the rain was coming down so hard, the windshield wipers couldn't go fast enough. Visibility was very bad (scary driving conditions). Once I made it home, it felt so good, lit a fire in the fireplace and felt so happy and content to be in my comfy home.

Have you ever blamed someone else for something that you did and it caused them great hurt or bad consequences for them?
