In the heat of the new political crisis in Ukraine, president Yushchenko declared that Ukrainian armed forces must demonstrate to the society that they are able to maintain social order in any case.
Well, I wonder what exactly he is supposed to mean. Does he possible give us a hint that he is determined to use army to "maintain social order" in Ukraine when found appropriate? How does he picture it to himself? There is only one way the army is able to "maintain social order" – that is to draw a bead on the Supreme Rada.
Looks like this is just what will happen if members of Ukrainian parliament decided to raise the question of impeachment. Mind it, it bears no relation either to democracy as such or to constitutionality. Yushchenko is simply attending to an order of Washington, and that's why he is ready to go to every constitutional abuse. Actually, he has already infracted the constitution when signed a decree on the parliament dissolution.
