Uh oh, some racist white guys got away with another crime. It must be that the North Carolina justice system is faulty!

On a side note, where'd Al Sharpton go? I guess he's moved on to trying to behead another white guy. I wonder if HE will issue an apology....

Ah, I hate to endorse Duke in any way, shape, or form - but there just wasn't any evidence.
The charges should have been dropped a long time ago.

Tawana Brawley's victims are still waiting for their apologies.

It's scary to think how quickly your life can be completely ripped apart by people with agendas.

Absolutely.
That is no doubt what 600,000 innocent people in Iraq were thinking as they lay dying at the hands of the Bush Government and it's war for the control of oil.

What amazes me is that all of the outrage is directed at the DA Nifong. Sure, he misbehaved, but why is no one talking about the pressure the black community had put him under!?
I mean, if he dismissed those charges early, there would probably have been rioting and everyone would be condemning him as a presumed racist!

You never let an opportunity pass by, do you?

There's certainly plenty of blame to go around. I'd add in the media's obsession with pointing out that the alleged rapists were well-to-do, as if that had any bearing on anything.
As for Nifong - he has to realize that one of the sucky parts of his job is that he can get voted out of office by an uniformed electorate. in by an uniformed electorate]. If he can't deal with that reality, and apparently he can't, then he's in the wrong job.

One day I just wanna hear Al Sharpton say, "That damn honkey is out of his cracka-ass mind. He needs to get fired."

I refer you back to multiple anti-police-tirade threads and such phrases as "public trust", "higher standard", "uphold the law", etc....

Of course Al 'Tawana Brawley' Sharpton hasn't had time to comment on the Duke case. He is too busy trying to decide what may and may not be said on the radio.
"SHARPTON VOWS MORE: 'It is our feeling that this is only the beginning. We must have a broad discussion on what is permitted and not permitted in terms of the airwaves'..."

yea Trav... referring to someone's hair as "nappy" is now a "racial slur"... who knew?
The truth is... it ISN'T.. and yet every news station is saying Imus has been fired for "racial slurs"... what a bunch of BS. I could care less if he's fired, that is the station's business. But saying he said "racial slurs" and having the media pretty much try to tell us Imus is a menace to society is crap.

Dop:
4/26/2006 - "FOX news has already declared the Lacrosse players not guilty. WTF is new? Gotta protect those good ol' rich, white bread guys."
4/27/2006 - "Of course there's no dna on the players ... they used a broomstick. Test that.
And it looks like the cabbie's testimony is falling apart ... and it now looks like the date-time stamp on the photos may have been photo-shopped.
FOX and MSNBC may have to do a little back-peddling.

I love Dop predictions! We need a place to keep them so that they're easy to refer back to as needed.

Hey guys, hey! Play nice or I'm going back to CheStillLives.com. When you guys make fun of my nonsense I never feel welcome here and console myself in leftist forums and bags of cheetos. :( :(

"Hey Ev, don't do imitations of me and address the real issue. Who cares if Brooks is the one leading the debate with me, you should engage yourself and not make fun of me. FWIW This place has gone downhill. I'm not sharing my cheetos with you."
-Dop, to be said...sometime after that last quote.
