The judge is very stupid. I'm not sure what the lawyers did to be considered stupid.

SHIT! That kind of crap pisses me off.

She's getting a minimum of 5 years, which certainly isn't a walk in the park...

That isn't to say I wouldn't have minded a harsher sentence, however.

Jarron, who made a full recovery, and Graham's four other children are currently in the custody of her parents.

in her defense (i don't believe i'm doing this:rolleyes:) at least she realized that she f'd up before the criminal justice system got a hold of her..she even pleaded guilty.

I'll bet her boyfriend is probably some thug felon or drug dealer with about 1000 arrests in his record. Whats ever worse is that after all of this blows over, she probably end up right back with him too :(

We don't know what the grandmother is like, or what kind of person she is at all...she may very well be a fine citizen who did the best she could for her kids.

Unlike her daughter, and let's put the blame on this squarely where it belongs.....the perpetrator.

From what I can see the lawyers are trying to rip at her confession, even if she is pleading guilty - maybe that is suppose to help minimalize the sentence. I don't think I could ever consider a career as a defense attorney - It's one thing to defend an innocent and a complete other to mess with the cases of the guilty - is that just an ego trip to see how much power they can assert over the law to shorten a sentence? Even if the harshest is deserved?

Minimum 5 years seems appropriate to me. We're talking about a sentence which compares to that which Mike Tyson got for raping a beauty queen.

Any fool can have children, but barbers need a license. Maybe things should be reversed.
