Why did the western world media turn up the heat around that arrest in Angola of Sarah Wykes, a NGO “Global witness” activist? They are portraying her as a heroic woman combating corruption of local authorities. They assert that Angola’s poverty is due to it. I suspect in their next “lofty” move mighty Anglo-Saxons will bomb Angola to finish it up with that poverty. Why not? It’s their common practice. And when it comes to oil or gas nothing can stop them!

FYI Angola is sub-Saharan Africa’s largest oil exporter after Nigeria. The country caught attention of both USA and EU seeking alternative to Middle East crude.
I think Sarah’s case is kind of blind. Both Angola top officials and international organizations should instead turn their eye on the American oil companies (e.g. Chevron Oil company), long entrenched in oil rich Cabinda district of Angola. Actually the company bears responsibility for oil revenue theft in Angola and for Cabinda holocaust (see http://www.cabinda.net/Chevron.html). There must be in-depth probe into these crimes.
Anglo-Saxons don’t Angola be independent and benefit from its oil riches. That’s the truth.
